Seriously

Okay, Moms out there. Do you feel like you nag your kids all day long because you are constantly telling them not to do something? Shouldn't I be over this hump with my 3 1/2 year old? Does it get better when they turn 4? Please tell me I am not alone or tell me the magic trick to make her obey consistently.

okay, so with haven, it was pretty much not terrible two's but terrible threes and then it kind of went into 4 and we are approaching 5 in a month or so and it's getting a bit better, but i'm thinking some of it is personality, and some frustration, and some just downright defiance. but yeah, i'm honestly still there. especially now with two....:)but it WILL get better, this too shall pass (that is what i keep encouraging myself with)

that's why they call it the "joys" of motherhood. remeber, God makes them cute so you don't seriously injure them. good luck.
no encouragement from me... then, you probably weren't expecting any because you know my kids.

I think if we could start at 18 months with shock therapy we would have perfect girls by age 3 1/2.
Oh well, I will think of something more humane!

I think Josh is secretly working for a shock collar company because just yesterday he was trying to talk me into one for our barking dog. . . I told him that I'd have to think about it :).

On the subject of kiddos, mine are younger and male, so no advice here. My heart goes out to you. I just wish my 2 1/2 year-old would do everything more quietly. He yells and repeats, yells and repeats. And in church on sunday I had to pretty much drag him out of the auditorium because I was already "wearing" my baby and couldn't pick my toddler up. At least you know that you're not alone, right?

Preschool starts in 19 days! I think routine will help us out a lot. She has a lot of energy and it has been trapped inside a lot this summer.
